Beer

Post by bman »

Point of privelage,

Florida is one of the few states that does not allow 64oz growlers, a take home jug of beer, to be sold at microbreweries.
We are allowed to sell 32 and 128oz but not the industrys most common size of 64.
Rep  Debbie Mayfield was just convinced by a lobbying group of big brewers to stall a bill that would have allowed the change.

Please email her something similar to what I wrote below

I was shocked to see a national news story stating you prevented the advance of a bill that would allow 64oz growlers be sold at microbreweries in Florida.

Why would you stall a regulation that would help small businesses in our state?
Inconceivable Especially at a time when we need jobs!

Please reconsider and do what you can to help move this forward.
