We run out just behind Dog Island and load the live well with plenty of live pins. The fellas decided they wanted to try for a few AJ's early in the day, so off went went to a wreck SW. Got to the spot and dropped down some live pins and it was ON!!!!!!!! We had 5 immediate hook-ups yielding big AJ's

This went on nonstop for about 30 minutes with numerous AJ's whooping our arses. Then, I look over to see my buddy Raymond holding onto his rod for dear life.....
He pulled and reeled, held on and groaned for 20 minutes refusing to give in to what was on the other end.....we guessed a BIG goliath and we were not proved wrong...
We finally get the 300+ pound beast off the line and send it back to the depths. Raymond takes a much needed break

It was too much to keep catching such nice red snapper only to have to throw them back, so we head in to look for some gags.
We get to the spot and proceed to catch our limit on live pins, LY's and sardines...
Completely exhausted around 3pm, we decided to call it a day and head in. Ended up with 5 nice AJ's, 10 gags (24" - 33"), and a few nice mangrove snapper. Many, many, many nice red snapper released. No red grouper
