4-8-13 Awesome for a Monday
My buddy and I decided to take the afternoon off yesterday to take advantage of the calm wind and seas NOAA was predicting. When we got down to the beach, we saw that NOAA had lied to us. Oh well, no turning back when we've come this far.
We fished from about 1:00 til 4:00 with plugs within 150 or so yards from shore. I don't know how many fish we caught, but I know we took home six. We were having so much fun catching those big old sows, we didn't really worry about trying to limit out or get a picture of every fish. Only caught 4 under 20" all day.
Awesome for a Monday.

nice work Benji! Where is the RiverHawk? Looks like you're in a john boat.

I still have the Riverhawk. I would never trade it in on a Jon boat, I love that thing.SHOWBOAT wrote:nice work Benji! Where is the RiverHawk? Looks like you're in a john boat.
That's actually my buddy Ben's Rivermaster in the picture. It's built very similar to a Riverhawk or Gheenoe.

sounds good. Hope all is well with you and the family; your baby must be a couple years old now. Been a while since we've talked. Take care buddy.

As long as everyone promises not to report me for taking charters without a licenseroadtrip wrote:wow, those are hoggs! How much do you charge for a charter. I can be there in an hour.
No, but if you're serious, my buddy Ben is a captain. He's actually the one who put me on the fish, not the other way around.
Ha! She'll be 6 months old next week. Good to hear from you too, hope all is good with you & Katie as well.SHOWBOAT wrote:sounds good. Hope all is well with you and the family; your baby must be a couple years old now. Been a while since we've talked. Take care buddy.
