Rita and I headed out this morning with hopes of chumming for spanish and cobia. The wind was pretty stout so we decided to trout fish for a few hours and managed a handful of smaller trout. We then pushed offshore and set up our chum, but didn't find what we were looking for. About 1:00pm we decided to run inside the islands and try for redfish. We eneded up catching two over slot reds before heading in (dog was waiting at home). Hopefully the winds will be better next weekend!

nice reds, are you fishing towards hommasassa or towards the power plant.
Re: Crystal River 4/13
We've been fishing south, but I am going to try the north side next time. Hopefully we can find some there as well.
