1st trip of the year

Post by woopty »

Headed SE of the lighthouse for some gag action.
Didn't put anything in the cooler, but came home with sore arms.
7ft bull shark fought me for 20 mins, then a huge nurse shark gave my buddy a workout.
Lost a couple gags, then we were able to bring a small gag up.....followed by a giant goliath.
Gonna need a bigger boat...
No wonder the bite was slow.

Beautiful day, boat ran great, no fish in the box, but a fun start.
I love our paradise...

Glad to start seeing your posts again! I'll be looking for your cobia reports soon!!!!
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark
