A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
Use this area to post freshwater fishing reports from the area lakes and rivers. Please try to include relevant information such as:
Location, date, time, water conditions, weather conditions, baits, techniques, species caught, etc.
It was 57 degrees here this morning. A record low for the date. It seemed to perk the Bass up a little. I caught six in an hour and a half. The biggest was 1 1/2 lbs, the smallest 1/2 lb and the rest were about a pound. Two caught on an Electric Chicken SWA, four on a merthiolate trick worm.
If you like to use plastic jerk baits you should try some of these hooks. They have improved my hookup ratio dramatically on Bass. I haven't tried them in saltwater yet but plan to soon.
