Post by Creek Minnow »

Hello, although first time to post on a site, I have followed you guys for several years now for information as to what's going on at the creek (Spring Creek/St. Marks). I live outside Atlanta and have fished the bend for nearly 40yrs although that is at a rate of 3-4 times a year. I have depended on this forum for information used in planning my trips. Now that I have gotten off the fence and posted I hope to share information with you which will be mainly from West of the Light House to Piney Island. This area has produced for our groups time after time, with the most recent being this past weekend. Friday produced limits on Trout with our share of over 21". Saturday was equally productive until we were run off the pond. Please continue with the info as I hope to make it down once more before the temps get too high.

Don't tell rocky and charlie if your group keeps more than 1 over 20 inches on the trout.

Thanks for the welcome, and yes, we observe all regs and rules, besides we have found the 15-18" are best in the "grease"

Welcome Creek Minnow. Be sure to bring rental money for fishing on Jump Trout's holes. I agree with you about the 15"-18" being best for eating.

I fished that area for the first time earlier this year. Usually fish east. Did well and I'll definitely be going back again. Welcome to the best fishing forum on the net. 8)
