My family and I have a chance to go to destin memorial day week/weekend. We are thinking about taking the boat out. Can yall give me any tips/pointers for the area? Where to put in, what areas to avoid, depths of the bay, etc? We are staying in sand-destin. Thanks for yalls help! We are really just wanting to relax so maybe some fishing but mostly just throwing the anchor out and swimming??? Thanks again!

Thats opposite end of the bay from where I fish there. If you get to the other end near the coast guard station you can sometimes catch schooling reds on the CG jetties when the tide is moving. You can't get real close to jetties though. They have the area roped off. You have to use something you can cast a long way.
