Taking a fellow Firefighter tomorrow morn that has never fished in salt water. Torn between Ecky and Keaton but wouldn't object heading to Lanark! Love all 3 places,just wanna put this kid on some trout to take home to his new bride. Taking my newlywed wife and Friday and probably gonna try a different locate than wherever I choose to go tomorrow. Hearing mixed reports from all 3 places?Also hearing go deep....7-9 ft? Any reliable help,Gentleman? I understand it's all about learn as u go but this is my first trip since feb due to getting married and the boat being in the shop. Thanks in advance. Todd Braswell

Flatsbroke, guessing you can't help the timing of the trip but post full-moon trips can be tough if the fish have fed well in the week leading up to the full moon.
Went Thursday and yesterday out of Ecky and the bite was stronger on Thursday. Didn't target trout but we did catch some big keepers in 10' to 12' on Thursday --was a bit surprised to find them that deep. Pulled a couple of reds off oyster bars out of Ecky yesterday but outside the red bites the flats were pretty quiet.
