Powertech or Solas???
So I have a opportunity to purchase a prop that I need there are two for the same price. Both size and pitch are the same,I would just like a lil feed back before i purchase..Cant Always go by website testimonials..Thanks

not an expert but I tested a bunch of props on my boat. PowerTech and Turbo outperformed the others with similar specs.
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

Powertech normally.....depends how your boat is handling with the current prop. Like shoes you have to get the right size or you aren't going to like the feel & performance

I would lean toward the PowerTech. However, they make hundreds of different props for many different applications. Talk to the folks at PowerTech. They'll come real close to determining which prop you need for your rig.

Just my two cents, give Ken at Propgods dot com a shout and discuss your needs with him. They rent props for testing etc. so you can fine tune till your heart's content.

For what it's worth I've had two solas same size and pitch. One had the rubex replaceable hub. The rubex was terrible. The one with standard hub was ok. Went back to yamaha oem and motor has never run better. All 3 blade aluminums. Just my experience.
