Man dont sell it. You will be sorry down the road. You could never replace it for $600. I would take it in a second if I didn't already have a 1959 light 12. Sell the bow instead!!! Good luck

I hear ya SaltyDog, but I have all the Shotguns I need! Not being a duck, dove, quail guy I do not really use my shotguns that much and shoot over and unders much better dan dem automatics. On the other had I drew a great tag in Montana and have access to an unbelievable private ranch! This is really a once in a life-time tag for me and I need a lighter bow to handle the job! So time to spend the money as September is not far away!!!

I am interested. You should not have to remove barrel to determine choke. Choke codes are stamped on side of barrel using symbols. The symbols are asterisks, dashes, and some squiggly things. For example, a single asterisk alone is a full choke. What is the stamped choke code on yours. Also I can't quite make out the serial number. That should be two letters with the five digits under it ont he bottom of the receiver. That will tell you the year. It is a post 1967 since it has the pistol grip, rather than the round knob. I think if you saw and "m" stamped on it, that may represent "light" as opposed to standard weight, which I think may be "g". . Talk to me and don't sell it out from under me just yet please. I love my a5, and I know just the young man who could put this to great use.

JCC,
Nobody has made me any offers but I do have it listed on a few other web sites for-sale! As for the strange markings on the barrel, I will shoot a picture and let yall figure it out. A hunting buddy looked at it for me and told me it was a modified choke!

I can't make out the choke stamp from the pic. It,may be a little bit forward of your photo. I'm in georgia. We will be coming down next wed or thurs to spend the 4th at the beach. Instead of coming through bainbridge, I can rout through Albany and thomasville. If you sell it before then, I understand. The only real thing I can say is if it is choked full, ill pass. If modified or more open, I'd like a chance to buy it.

Yep. BC gets a chance to fill his tag and I have a gift for someone very important to me! Now if this weather will just clear a little so I can drop the boat, we may chase a fish or a scallop. With all this rain, the scallops may have all drowned. Hope not.
