Decided to take out my new (to me) boat today off st marks. Dad and Doug were as eager as I was to put some slime
in the boat. Only problem was the giant black line of storms to the south that were headed north. We saw it was moving NW so we ran east in hopes of getting away It was not meant to be. That line blasted us like a FSU defensive line...packed with blinding rain, thunder and lightening, and 40+ mph gusts. We tucked inside a creek and hid the best we could and waited and waited. Finally it slowed up but that dam light rain decided to hang around the rest of the day. To top it off fishing was slow slow slow. Decided to hit one more hole on the way to the hill around 3pm and finally I felt a good tug on the strang. A few minutes later we had a solid tourney red in the boat, 26.5" right on key. That was all so we headed for the hill. Can't wait for fall weather/fishing...this summer crap can be gone as far as I'm concerned!!! -Tight Lines-

Good job. I wish I had the luck you had today. I spent some time on the water today between 8:00 and 1:00. I hit several holes and didn't manage to bring anything home.
