'nother tackle box question

Post by Ken K »

Have any of you tried the new Plano boxes with the angled dividers?
What about the Shimano boxes built especially for plugs, with the soft inserts to keep the plugs from rattling around?

My hard baits get rode around more than fished and I noticed some plugs that have never been wet are getting a lot of wear from rubbing against the hooks.

I had to replace my very old Plano during spring due to a "mishap." :(
I jumped over side after walking boat off a bar and landed directly on
my poor ole box with all 240. Plano customer service, as nice as they are, decided I didn't qualify for a free replacement. I actually repaired it with several strips of duct tape but my family and close friends said it
embarassed them.
I finally decided on Plano Guide 777 with twin bilevel removableable
plug boxes. It has tons of room but is quite large. I found it fits
neatly into my console seat storage cooler and I just keep out smaller
boxes. So far, I've been pleased!
It certainly serves the purpose of allowing me to carry more tackle than I could possibly ever need! :-D

It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I haven't seen the Plano boxes with the angled dividers.

Why not put a piece of foam in the bottom of the trays you have?
What was I supposed to do today?

THE PLANO TACKLE BOX

I'v been fishoing with the Plano (above) for several years. It's great. It lets you put jigs in one dawer, hooks weights etc in another and still have a third.

Lots of storage in the top too. Easy to carry and doesnt fall over.

It looks like a good idea, if the dividers stay put.
