4 boats (heading offshore) in line to put in.
It was great to smell the salt air again, and watch the sunrise while on the water. It's been a couple months since I was on the water and it was a normally awesome experience.
We anchored at my first honey hole. By 10 am (no real need to move as we had a lot of action), we had 1/2 our limit of trout! 19-20 inches for the first 5! as well as a bunch of short trout, and the normal family of sharks, catfish, etc.

Picked up a few pinfish and tried them, not happening. Switched back to live shrimp. Water was slightly stained. Baitfish was everywhere!
At 10, we moved to the next spot and continued to pick up a few shorts and another keeper.
Highlight of the day was catching what appeared to be a small gag grouper!

Georgeous day, slight wind, light chop, headed back to Tally around 12:30.
Total for the day:
6 keeper trout 17 - 20"
15-20 shorts (yes, we threw back the 15's & 16's)
few cats, few sharks, (just enough to keep it fun)
All caught on live shrimp, cajun thunders, 4 feet of water.
