What in the World?????

This section is for our members to talk about things not actually about fishing or boating. However, please read the Code of Conduct before posting.

As usual, you guys are creeping into the political discussions that belong somewhere else. This is a fishing web site. Talk fishing, please. All of the song and dance you go through to seem like you aren't doing it is wasted. It's obvious, from Jarhead's "just a informational post" about cost of the Affordable Care Act to this discussion, it's POLITICS. Go elsewhere.

We do talk fishing, hunting and everything else we want to discuss. If it's to political for you or it hurts your feelings, so be it. It is time to talk about these things so we can fish and hunt and yes, speak what is on our mind.

Sure, except that is outside the boundaries of this website. Go elsewhere.

EJ, might want to hit the "view all posts" button before you start casting stones. 1, 100+ posts here, far and away mostly fishing related, though of late wih an admitted turn to hunting / gun talk due to a land purchase. Single post you referenced was about 20 posts ago... those who know me know my #1 song and dance is cobia, with almost a dozen board members having gone out with me to successfully find, catch, and even tag them. In all fairness, a look at recent posts shows you somewhat focused on regulations, an issue not exactly apolitical. Happy for you to be able to voice your opinion though, so that's where we evidently differ.

I just moved this to the off topic section. It's close to getting moved to the politics section.
But I think there is a some merit discussing kids bringing hunting and fishing gear to school.

Lets keep it on the news story that started the discussion.
I remember having shotguns in my truck at FSU and wearing camo to class so I could go out right after class.

Back in the day FCI at the end of Park Ave. was a mens prison.
It was a working farm prison.
They raised cattle, hogs, corn and other vegetables.
After school at Leon,we would load up and high tail out to FCI to shoot dove in the fields.
We were told that when all the gunfire started, the prisoners were told one of their own tried to escape and was being shot down.
I do not recall a prison escape ever attempted there.
WHOSE FISH IS IT?
