Has anyone seen the 2018 marine emission standards and are there any outboards that meet those standards?
I'm considering repowering and doing a little research...
I've been told that the only outboards (either 4 stroke or 2 stroke) that currently meets the 2018 EPA standards are Evinrude Etecs but ALL the information I've been able to find states that there are NO outboards currently made that meet the 2018 standard and that outboards will have to develop a system similar to inboard motors to be able to meet the standard.
Anyone know the truth?

Re: 2018 EPA Marine Emission Standards???
I can't find any information on new EPA standards except for commercial Diesel engines. Are you just trying to buy the cleanest motor available? I doubt if there are new standards for 2018 that the engine companies would certify now. Even if they could meet them, the extra cost would probably prevent them from doing so yet, since most people wouldn't know anything about it.

You may be right...I thought I saw the 2018 standard online but now I can't find it (and it might have been for diesels). Not looking for the cleanest motor available, just doing a comparison on options and prices on all of them in the 150 - 200 hp range at this point.
