Prayers for BlueH2OFisherman (Todd)
Guys and Gals who follow the adventures of the Celestial Crab Offsohre Reports may realize that we always thank God and Todd for the adventures we are able to enjoy. Well that individual who Celeste and I love with all our hearts is in need of all your prayers he has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome (ghee-YA-buh-RAY) http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/guilla ... me/DS00413 and has undergone some of the most pain any human being could endure, he was basically paralized and couldn't move or walk he is on the recovery and getting Plasmapheresis which you can read about in the treatment section of the link above! Todd is the father of three boys and married to a wonderful woman Genia who also need your prayers! He sent out a message on facebook to his friends that he is walking now with crutches, so he is on the mend but Please remember him in your prayers for recovery as he makes all the fishing reports from us possible and is one of our dearest friend in this world!
Thank-you Joe & Celeste

He's been on my list since I heard about his illness. It sounds like he's keeping his spirits up and is recovering, although it is tough and slow.

May the peace of God be his and his recovery like the speed of a Cobia.

Prayers sent. Did he get this after a flu shot? I had a friend get it after a flu shot and that's the reason, I've never gotten one.

my buddy that got it 25 yrs ago was paralyzed from the neck down for a period of time. Had to have emergency trach on way to hospital. He is fine now, walks w/ a limp, but he is the sheriff of a county in East GA. I pray that your friend will be well soon. I'm most sure the Dr's are much better at treating this now.

Prayers sent!
Never heard of this disease before until about 3 years ago and my then secretary was diagnosed with it. They put her in the hospital for 30 days, gave her some very expensive treatments and then decided it was some other auto immune disease. She has pretty much recovered, although her doctors thought it best to leave her stressful job as my secretary.
Hope Todd's treatment is as successful!
