I'm thankful for my health, my job, and my freedom. Let's not forget our troops who don't get to enjoy this wonderful holiday at home with their families. If you know someone in the service, or someone who has previously served, be sure to let them know how thankful you are. That includes the forum members we have here. Thanks guys!
Post script: Thomas, what the heck were you doing up so early? Its WAY too cold to fish.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
It is a bitter sweet holiday for me. My old daddy was a doctor and the only thing we could count on to spend time with him was the trip every year to the mouth of the Suwanee for a weekend of hunting and fishing after Thanksgiving. Great times and memories from those trips!
I put on a butt and a turkey in my komado cooker to cook all last night. When I took them off this morning, they were fall apart tender and delicious. Gonna be a great day feeding my extended family.
I am thankful for my family and most thankful that my mother who had a very serious stroke in May is still with us and still making slow steady progress!
It is a bitter sweet holiday for me. My old daddy was a doctor and the only thing we could count on to spend time with him was the trip every year to the mouth of the Suwanee for a weekend of hunting and fishing after Thanksgiving. Great times and memories from those trips!
