The Birds Have Left and So Shall I
Seems that the birds we had locally have moved off with the last front, so I am packing up and heading to Johnny Wink's outfit in Jones, La today to hunt tomorrow and Saturday. His brother Jim is taking me. Jim is our new top professional at the Boys and Girls Club of Valdosta. Forecast for rain today and tomorrow with a cold slam coming Friday afternoon late. With most of the are to the north to be frozen in, should move some birds our way. Got my fingers crossed and my stuff loaded.

Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Good luck man... I want to see pictures!
That weather looks nasty and you may get to stay a few more days
I called off a MS trip this weekend and rescheduled.

Re: The Birds Have Left and So Shall I
We are back and we were 15 miles south of Arkansas at Jones, La. The weather Friday was 40 degrees, nasty wet and windy and the birds did not cooperate very well. Saturday morning was cloudy with 27 degrees and 20 mph winds. Birds cooperated better, but mostly spoonies. Then good birds come and the dog decides he has retrieved enough. Could not reach 6 mallards, widgeon and grey duck.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!
