Back From Panama City

Post by MudDucker »

Well of all the places I thought I would be duck hunting, Panama City was not tall on the list. My hunting bud wanted to shot redheads, so we did a little research and engaged backbay adventures to take us out. I opted for an afternoon hunt due to the moon being full all night long. We only saw two redheads until about 40 minutes before shooting time was over and then it was Katy bar the door for about 30 minutes. We shot buffies waiting on the reds to fly. Surprised at the lack of blue bills. We limited out on reds and had a great seafood dinner on the way home. The pictures don't do these ducks justice. My bud killed a hammaknocka red drake to go on the wall.

Nice! That's an unexpected place to have such a great hunt.

My buddies son's and friends have been wearing the redheads, buffies and cans out near Panacea the last few weeks. Very few BB's for some reason.
