How do you replace a lost key for a 90HP mercury motor?

Flogator, the trick is to know your key (or ignition switch) ID number. It's prolly a 3-digit number printed on your original key, the ignition switch, or maybe on the paperwork. I got my spare key on eBay, but it won't be hard to find online or marine supply if you are armed with the code number. If you don't know the ID number then look on the ignition switch for it. You may have to un-mount the switch to get a good look at its underbelly for the code.
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
