If a revolver is what you want I suggest a Ruger lcr (hammerless) or the Ruger lcrx (has hammer) both are 38 spec +P. Just purchased one for 425.00 plus Ky sales tax. If it will be carried in purse suggest the hammerless Ruger LCR. Also have a S&W Airweight 38 spec +P that will cost you around 500.00. Again if carried in purse would suggest the S&W single action (hammerless). Both the Ruger and the S&W are quality concele handguns. Trigger pull and action very smooth on both. If shooting non +p rounds very mild and manageable recoil. You can save yourself 100/150 bucks and go with a Tauras or some of the other makes but trigger pull and trigger smoothness are sacraficed. I've tried saving a buck or two in the past and have regreted it. What ever you do make sure there is proper training up front. Guns do not shoot people by accident, people shoot people by accident. Have a good day.

Kentuck -

I am just looking for a used revolver. Any of the brands you mentioned other than the Taurus would be fine. I've had bad luck with a Taurus in my past.

Thanks.
