Lanark 3/1

Post by Troutinator »

First post of 2014 and hopefully a start to many more. I so enjoy all the reports and now I have my son with me on most times out it makes it even more special.

Set out of Lanark on Saturday, to mostly clear skies and wind out of the SE pushing onshore. Water was fairly clear with nothing at all biting as we could not find
any water that was above 61 degrees. went to my favorite spots and fished the falling tide which I thought might be productive but finally wind blown we headed back in.

No Fish but nothing broke and a great day with my boy, wife and 15 year old on the water.

First time out this year after redoing the bunks, leaf springs, and fuel lines and wiring on the boat. all worked good.

I say If nothing broke the first trip of the year was a success!
Hoping to get on the water some this weekend for another test run.
