Econfina 4.10.14
Fished Ecky today today from noon until about 1530hrs. Bite was pretty hot at times just before the high at 1-130. Good many boats for a Thursday and it looked as though the majority wanted to fish toward Aucilla as opposed to the south, which would normally be my first choice.4.5-5ft seemed to be the ticket.Threw back many shorts and put 8 keepers and a Spanish in the box. Beautiful day out there but with little wind so hard to get a good drift going. But this guy ain't complaining, get em while the gettin is good. Ready for the anniversary trip to Lafitte,La. next month.
. Todd Braswell

Saw a couple catch a 40+ inch bull red in the middle of all those boats too btw. Brought it over to show us a closer look before release. Said they just had to show it to someone. Now I really have NOLA on my mind.

That big bull had to be a fun catch! I would've had to show it off too

Flatsbroke, let me know if Braswell or Tim Barr have extra room for the trip to Venice. Thanks for the report. I thought that w/ all the fresh water, the bite may be off.

The trout and flounder we caught were mostly on a candy corn... Only one was on a new penny gulp.
