Is it my puter or is site loading slow and giving errors?

For the last two days I've had problems getting threads to open and even the sections of the forum. They are loading really slow for me sometimes and normal at other times. I've gotten this error quite a few times too when a thread wouldn't open.

BMan got any ideas if the site is having some issues or is it just me? All the other web sites I visit are loading fine.

I think I read the Microsoft was no longer supporting XP or stone tablets. Might be time to upgrade.

I always use my iPhone or iPad and I've had no issues.

I did just upgrade to a new super-fast machine (MacBook Pro) and I've experienced the same thing the last couple days with slow loading and error messages.

Have also experienced the same bugs / errors a time or two. Definitely don't think it was computer related either as other sites on other open tabs were working fine at the very same time.

Is it the site or the forum?
Site has run slower than I'd like but I've not experienced any issues with the forum.

The forum is giving occasional sql errors.

Dreamhost is doing some upgrades again and that may be causing some server errors... If it does not clear up in a day I'll do some more digging.

Dreamhost says their update is done. Let me know if your still having problems.

FELLAS, IT IS ALL THE RAIN WE HAVE BEEN HAVING, WINDSTREAM HAS BEEN HAVE A FIT TRYING TO GET IT SOLVED. THEY PUT DOWN A NEW LINE TO OUR PLACE DUE TO WATER GETTING INTO THE CABLE A MILE FROM OUR HOUSE. THE TEC. SAID THEY HAD MANY PROBLEMS CAUSED MAINLY BY WATER INTRUSION OF THE CABLES. IT SHOULD ALL CLEAR UP AS SOON AS THE WATER TABLE DROPS BELOW 12 INCHES..

The site and forum are painfully slow for me this morning. Freeze for what seems an eternity before finally loading. No problem surfing other web sites.

Tried on the computer and smart phone with same results.

Host service doing maintenance again?
