Late Monday afternoon I got the text - "Calm seas tomorrow- want to go offshore?"
I texted back seconds later "I'm In!"
Tuesday morning we ran out of Panacea early into calm seas
Bait was biting great and that excited us... if the little ones wanted to eat hopefully the big ones wanted to as well!
A quick run out to the towers and we were fighting AJs!!!
We caught a few shorts but had no problem getting our limit of four.

Dang those fish FIGHT like nothing else....
Happy and already a little tired, we ran in to state water for grouper.
They were cooperative as well!
On the way back we hit some structure to see if a Cobia was around and in seconds Wolfeman had hooked up.
Final count
10 Grouper (8 gags, 2 reds) Four AJs and a Cobia.
Caught the AJs on live bait, grouper seemed to like cut LYs better than Pins, and the Cobia ate a big Pig fish.
Could not ask for a better time on the water - Its taken a few days to recover from this trip!
