Braid to Leader Knot

Post by Littoral »

Just passing it on. I really like the J-Knot. It's easy.

(Clicking this link didn't seem to work but I cut & pasted the whole URL and it worked)
Switching to Power Pro has been one of the best things I've done in a long time to improve my fishing. But it has forced me to revise a lot of my knots. The most complicated issue I had was simplifying the braid to leader knot. I got the reverse albright down but ~20 turns takes awhile. Then I found this J knot. I found that it's a really good terminal knot for mono/flouro as well.

Good stuff "Lit" . Thanks.

ps: look'n at the link I think part of the URL you need is not included. Check to see if you have the [/url] inserted before the end of the actual URL.

I think this is the entire link you need. http://www.saltwatersportsman.com/saltw ... 807,00.htm

The J knot is one of the few "easy" ways to attach Floro to Braid. We use it a lot when we are chumming snapper. Here is another great sight for some more simple knots.
