Leon County tag is for any lake (private or public) that is not an exclusive unit. Talquin, Miccosukee, Iamonia are exclusive units. Jackson, Lafayette, Munson, etc are not exclusive units & can be hunted with a Leon County tag. If the water level is high enough in Jackson, there may be a couple of worthy gators behind the cattle gap that haven't been messed with in a couple of years.

I sold the airboat to a forum member last year. I haven't been on Iamonia since last gator season. I'm guessing its full pool once again?SHOWBOAT wrote:
Have you been running your airboat on Iamonia very often? be.

Yeap, still a little bit flooded actually. Water still flowing in Cromartie arm through Horseshoe. It has dropped several feet in the past week though; I can almost get to the my floating dock again.bbb wrote:I sold the airboat to a forum member last year. In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.
