Is anybody fishing?

Just wondered with the lack of activity here if anybody has gone out and had any luck lately. Me and my nephew went out yesterday for a few hours at Keaton and had a good day. Ended up with 4 nice keeper trout(with lots of shorts, too), 5 sharks and kept 2 about 2 ft. long, and 2 keeper BSB. We caught a lot of different species like small BSB, a remora, big hardhead catfish, pigfish, and several tiny pins we put out for bait. Had 2 ladyfish jump and get off right at the boat, but I didn't want them in my boat anyway . Water was a little stained in places and that is where we did better. Most of the bigger fish were in 7 ft. Tight lines.

I was out in my kayak ,thurs,looking for some reds .Caught three deceny trt on topwater alittle after sunrise outside of piney island. then went to oyster bayto try for ome reds , only got one ratred. did catch one big trt which I released. worked my way back to the west vend of PI and got on some nice trt w a corkand jig rig. only boated 4 of them but vthey were pretty! THe water there too has cleared up alot,still a little tainted.

Took out my yak yesterday am off bottoms. Strong west wind fished over to Piney and only had some small trout hit. No reds Nice upper body workout on the "BIG RIG" getting back by 10am.

I always post a report, good or bad. I think people feel that if they dont limit out it's not worth posting. We all love to see the reports and pics. So post em up regardless of how you do.

Went out in my Bass Tracker from Mashs sands about 9am. Nice and calm. Tried the oyster bars near pier at Bald Point. Nothing but a guy was fishing from his yak and getting nice trout on a lure(?). Moved from there to off beach at Mash and got two small mackeral trolling white bucktails. Kept moving east to Panacea, Got two trout trolling near the outer marker in 9 feet. Hit a feeding frenzy and hooked two lady, one mac, lots of fun. Wind came up in the afternoon, wet ride back home. Saw the FWC man at the launch. He said people were telling him that not much catching going on. Tried live and cut pinfish everywhere, squid, topwater, clark and johnson spoons. Beautiful day but the wind got the best of me.

It got real windy Thursday and it kept us in closer than I wanted to be. I tried to get to the Dekle birdrack but it didn't happen. Was nice that morning.
