AWESOME flattie, Rhettley!
Bout to put Marine's Dream in the shop for some quick (hope) work, but soon as she's out think it's time we go put you on some cobia!

"The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank GOD for the United States Marine Corps." Eleanor Roosevelt, 1945

I remember someone, somewhere, sometime posted this clip on how to filet a flounder for stuffing.Steve Stinson wrote:Man that is a nice one, and very nice pics to go with it.![]()
We caught two small ones during the NFGFC Tournament on Saturday. I tried my best to split one side midway down along the backbone and fillet all of the meat off in one piece to make stuffed flounder, but I couldn't figure out how to keep the fillets attached out near the end of the bones beneath the fins. Does anybody know if that can be done?

Vitz -
That's exactly what I needed. Thank you.
I tried to do the entire process with a fillet knife rather than scissors. (Now I know why I am a surveyor and not a surgeon!).
Hopefully, the bone tips don't stay in the meat when you clip out the bones.
