Hi all, i am new to this forum and have been fishing out of Keaton and Econfina for about 2 yrs now. the family always enjoy the day out and the fishing from this area. My question is: we ar planning a trip to Panama City Beach and this year we want to take the boat and i was wondering if anyone here could give advise on the following.
thanks in advance for your help
1) is there a good marina that we can leave the boat docked at?
2) the only salt water fishing that we know is the inshore fishing that we do around keaton and econfina - are there any places in Andrews bay or maybe west bay to fish this time of the year?
3) does anyone know of any websites like this one that covers the PCB area?
any type of help or recomendations will be greatly appreciated
thank yall very much

Not sure if chalk is ss's friend, but he may chime in. There are a few good marinas depending on where you are staying. The inshore fishing is good and there are many places to go. Crooked island, east bay, west bay and Phillips inlet are a few places you may try. You may try the Florida sportsman forum, panhandle region for more help. Good luck!

Gator,
thank you also for the info. we don't have a place picked out yet but I don't mind driving to a marina that may be a little farther if I means its closer to the fishing spots. also I will be sure to check out fl sportsman's site

Several Marina's - St. Andrews, Panama City, Bay County, Treasure Island, etc. Most are 24 hour marinas and have wet slips. Don't know the prices or availability.
Different fishing than what your used too - place is like a bowl - but same general concept - trout on the flats and reds up close. You can catch rock bass, snapper and grouper in the bay in the deep water
