Blacks Island Vacation

Has anyone ever stayed at the bungalows on Blacks Island in Port St. Joe? I was looking at taking the family there.

I have never seen them offered for rent. I had heard they had come kind of problem that prevented them from opening, but don't know if it all got cleared up or not.

Had a buddy stay there about a month ago. He said it was awesome and that he would be going back. Not to mention some pretty decent fishing.

Whew, $500 a night for the all inclusive or $430 regular stay, 2 people.

If the $ at Blacks Island is too much you might try the cottages at the Port Inn, only about 2 blocks from the city ramp, we stayed their with family a time or two in the past two years, pretty nice setup for families and fishing other than no fish cleaning area but nice pool and space to park your boat.

Guess they cleared up the issues. Not quite as expensive of the Sea Island Club, but close.

I hope Larry Flynt crowd didn't leave any STD's around behind them.
