Fished in the stiff NE wind in the RI area. Clouds early and water temps around 80 early and 85 to finish the day with bright sun. Not wanting to get out on the flats with the wind, went by Wilson's for 50 shrimp. After it was over I wish we had gotten 100. Shrimp was the bait of choice this time as was last trip. Nothing else in the box got a rise except a top water boil or two.
Caught 5 nice reds and 4 trout in the creeks during the flooding tide. As soon as tide topped out at 12:30 the bite was pretty much done.
Looking forward to cooler water temps and the fall bite!

How did you fish w/ the shrimp? Under a cork or flat line w/no weight or a weight?

Most were caught under a cork but we did catch a couple on the bottom.
