What a great Day on the Water. Went with my buddy Clay, he left the key on in the boat, and had a dead battery, and the nice people at the Marina allowed us to borrow a battery pack for the trip!
Tried the White Trout Hole, they were not there yet, and headed out to the regular spot. Mackerel were everywhere bashing the bait. Manged some and lost some lures and spoons.
Caught my Biggest Spanish (thought is was a small king) ever on the last cast:

Did manage a couple trout too. What a fun day on the water!

I am going to try them. I have the fillets soaking in Salt Brine as we speak. Let you know how it goes.....

Hope it goes well. I have a buddy that will eat anything, he ate some a few years back and said once was enough. Hope it turns out well
