Red tide?

Red tide?
Does anybody here think the recent red tide might have had some influence on our fishing here? The recent images show moderate to high blooms of it off southern Taylor County and trace amounts all around the gulf coast. Fishing has been off lately and just wondered if that might be a part of it.

Re: Red tide?
Last report I saw on red tide did not show any in the area, mostly further south.I believe this high pressure system that has been sitting on top of us for a while is the main reason for the slow bite.

Re: Red tide?
The red tide killed a bunch of fish south of Keaton. It can't be good for the area. I'm surprised the red tide effects are so under reported....
