I walked her down to the stand this morn a half hour before light. Told her I loved her and good luck then went back to the house. Around seven I heard a shot. I texted was that you? No go back to sleep. Around eight . . BOOM! Then my phone rings. He went down but got up and ran. Then she tells me she about did not get it because the first time she tried the gun went CLICK! Oops I forgot to chamber her a round. Anyway I get my gun and go down and track it. The trail is real spotty at first then this. . We trailed the deer around 300 to 400 yards and I see it first. . We high five and get some pics. I am so proud of her composure to quietly chamber a round and make the shot. . . Her counting points. We have had pics of it since summer. And now she won't kill me. Lol

It was. I could not believe it got up and ran 400yards. The blood trail was real spotty for the 1st hundred yards. . Then the next hundred was like this. . The last 200 Ray Charles could have followed. . It was a lot of fun to track it with my wife.
MEGA-congrats to the wife! Laughed hard at the Ray Charles line!
