LOST FIREARM

.40 Glock Model 27 Handgun, Serial Number FFG949, with black leather holster.
Lost in the area of Hwy 267 near Hwy 20 in Leon County, FL, on 12/28/14

New information. An older heavy set woman was seen in a late model possibly teal, dodge van possibly picking up the missing firearm near Crows Corner grocery on Hwy 20 heading south at approximately 1215 on12/28/2014

is there more to this story you can share? how does a law enforcement firearm go missing and possibly show up at a corner grocery?

i don't know anything about this situation, but these are pretty cryptic messages for 1st and 2nd posts.

I am guessing this may be the officer who lost the handgun hoping to get it back.

I can tell you from owning a land surveying company for many years, you would be surprised at what you find walking the highways - guns, knives, money, lawn equipment, and just about anything else that can be left on top of a car or bounce off a truck....
