Lighthouse Low Tide Question

Post by lordsfisher »

With a -0.5 ft. low tide, do you think I'll be able to motor out of the St. Marks light with a 22' Carolina Skiff? I don't know what a dramatic negative tide number is. Thanks in advance.

Nope.I launched at the fort this morning & talked to a guy in a flats boat who went to the lighthouse first & said the dock was on dry ground & the channel entrance was a ditch.

Not much. 1 flounder & a few trout. Nothing to brag about.
