info for horseshoe beach

Going to Horseshoe Beach next weekend. I have fished out of Steinhatchee but not as far south. Any info would be appreciated.

fished out of there one time before. when you come out of the marina, head out a little bit and start going to your right, I've attached a map that shows you about how to run it. I did this for another member so i'll be glad to help you as well. now i'm no expert on this area but this worked very well for us the same time last year. the red arrow shows you where to run. I remember around where that arrow stops it got shallow, you'll see a tripod as well. just ease in there and fish that bank of grass and grass islands. we caught a handful or more of reds in there in about a 30 minute stretch. the big red areas is where we did on trout later on that day. we caught a 3 man limit with a countless amount of trash fish in between. very nice area and nice community. hope this helps.
