St. Joe Bay 4-11-15
Late posting this but here it is. Got to get out for a early morning trip before the rains moved in. Threw a spook jr and it wasn't long I had a big explosion and the fight was on. Finally landed her and it was a new personal best at 28". Forgot to weight it but I did get a picture
Can't wait to go again

That's what you call a gator trout. Nicely done.

Monster trout!!! Fished St Joe Bay last Tuesday morning but only could muster up a couple 18s and a couple 16s seems all the rain may have slowed down the trout for a while. Topwater was not working, seemed the fish were short striking an not committing.

No weight necessary, anyone that can't tell that is a show nuff gator needs their eyes checked. Nice work, I bet that was a cool blow up

Thanks guys, it was for sure an awesome experience. Probably the best trout, or trout-a-saurus, I will ever catch.
I know this is pointless but I would be curious to hear the guesses on what the weight "might" have been ???
Based on length and girth judged in picture...
