Fun Birthday morning on the flats

Launched the boat from the light house this morning at daylight. Ran east about a half mile from the light house in front of the cell tower. light breeze and calm seas. Threw a shrimp on the hook under a popping cork and threw it out. Before I could get the second rod rigged, got the first bite. Got two nice keeper trout right off the bat, several short trout, my share of catfish (and everybody else's) a few lady fish and by 8:30, nothing. Stayed out till about 10:00 AM then headed for the barn. Had fun and have trout in the oven for lunch!
