Question for the OLD TIMER's in the PanHandle....

Cleaning out some files in preparation for relocation I ran across a note I wrote after a Turkey hunt I the panhandle....this was way back in the early 70's when I was still living in Jacksonville and it was my first Turkey hunt in the Panhandle.....hunted with a young guy the name of Randy King.....I know he lived in Crawfordville and that he became a Guide, (if he was one when I hunted with him he never said anything and it was set up by a friend who owed me a favor so he might have been..though he couldn't have been much older than early 20's at that time)......

We hunted somewhere in the area of Crawfordville and were very successful, (he had great private land contracts).....never hunted with him after that as he started Guiding full time and I thought paying for a Guide was like paying for....well you know what.......but I did start hunting the panhandle for Turkeys and Ducks a good deal after that......

Hadn't thought about that hunt in a long time and likely wouldn't have if it hadn't been for the note that has survived four moves and over 40 years.......not looking to re-establish contact with Randy but I was curious if anyone on the site had heard of him, or knew him......(heck everytime I say a name over in that area someone, usually Barry, responds that he went to school with one of the King boys, or dated a King girl, or took a shot at one that had taken a shine to one of his kin).......
