Problems with Minn Kota

I have a nearly new Minn Kota Powerdrive 55 PD V2 that I added a minn kota remote control to. It has worked great until last week. I had noticed the remote seemed to beep a good bit when nothing was being pushed, but now it just goes dead at times. Usually in a minute or so, it would pick back up and work. The last time it went dead and quit for good. I unhooked the remote control and rehooked the foot petal, but that didn't work either. I checked my electrical connections and they seemed solid. Any ideas?

Talk to Bill at TM Service Center. (Number is on sponsor's list for this site). For some reason, Minn Kota seems to be having problems with their switches these days. I have a bow mount that has had two replaced in a short time. I just got it back from him last week. I have tried Motorguide as well, but they seem worse.
