The two of us ran a long way to find a few fish. Got some hardtails at the 24 marker. Fished out to 65 feet and back. Water was dirty everywhere we went. It appears the grouper haven't re-grouped yet, at least not for us. We hit at least a dozen #'s both public and private never getting more than few bites at each spot. Brought home 5 gags to 25". Did get one 42" cobia to help fill up the cooler a little bit. Water temp was down to 79 degrees. Thankfully did not see any major floating debris left over from Ivan. Nice day.

Tough fishing on the full moon. When you say the water was dirty, what do you mean? A nice cobe will make any day ok.

The water was algae green and cloudy, poor visibility. I thought it would have cleared up a bit by 70' but it never did.
