Fish ID Help - What is it ???

Caught in about 100 ft off our coast... It was about a foot long. Any idea?

Definitely a member of the sea bass family (serranidae). My guess would be Bank Sea Bass. Found in Florida waters and has the same identifying characteristics as the fish in the picture.
