got the skiff back from the mechanic yesterday. This was second try to fix the problem. Sure hope its fixed! We have guests for the week end so can't test it out til Monday. Think I'll take it to Miccosukee for an hour or so and if it work head south to the salt.

Sounds good Blue Spinner. Seems like as good as place as any to stop. I stop occasionally and check out our old house. Noticed they have a nice new school. Pelham is where my love for fishing started. Even though I was young I remember loading up and heading to St Marks, and surrounding areas. First impressions stay with you.

HEY PIRATE, YOU WOULDN'T BE WORKING WITH THE ATLANTA HIGHLANDER GROUP WOULD YOU? MY YOUNGEST SON,DAVID, HAS WORKED WITH THEM FROM TIME TO TIME. HE IS A MINING ENGINEER AND HAS HIS OWN COMPANY, HE ALSO WORKS ALL OVER THE WORLD AND IS GONE MOST OF THE TIME.

No Futchcairo, I'm not familiar with his company. Sounds like he is a very busy guy. I'm retired now. I taught school and coached basketball. No mine work. Would you know Billy Nicholson. I think he was a principal in Cairo at one time before he moved up my way. I was born in Pelham, where my Dad coached. That's where I was first introduced to saltwater fishing. My Dad and his fishing buddies would get the word the trout were biting. They would go to the fish house, buy their mullet. Cut them up and salt them and we'd load up and head down. He said that's all they ever used except from time to time they would splurge and buy a spoon. We used to stay sometimes in some little cabins at Wilson's Beach. It's long gone. Do you know where that might have been?

Small world, Blue Spinner, I'm a fellow Pelhamian. Been here about 10 years plus 3 years in Camilla. Pirate, I have family that lives near by, they live in Good Hope and run the gas station there. Of course I was born and raised not far away in Lawrenceville.
