Bow question
I recently bought myself a new bow and have it dialed in pretty good at 20, 30 and 40 yards. Question I have is, when shooting at off yardages (let's say 25 yds) do I aim the 20 yard pin high, the 30 yard pin low or is it a preference thing?

Re: Bow question
preference !!! I like to hold over
....Tallahassee Bowhunters Asso. has a club and monthly bow shoots...check them out. Out toward Geddie Rd.

Re: Bow question
Put the spot you want to hit (pick a hair) halfway between the 20 yard pin and the 30 yard pin.... practice make perfect.

Re: Bow question
Gulf Coast, I found the schedule of shoots but don't see an address or map. Do you have an address for where the shoots are? I may come out and check out the next event. Thanks

Thanks GC, I had been looking at it on my phone. Looking at it on a computer makes a lot more since!

Re: Bow question
When I used to bow hunt, every deer I ever shot dropped down to load their weight on their rear legs to run. That means the arrow tends to hit high from the actual aim point. Split the pins, but if you are unsure, miss just a bit low. At least that was always my motto. Your mileage may vary.

Re: Bow question
Little low will put em to sleep

Re: Bow question
i wouldn't aim higher or lower. 5 yards will not make a difference.(depending on your bow of course) use 20 pin for 25 and 30 pin for 35. especially if you're hunting from a stand, aiming high will hurt your feelings..
