Haven't been able to fish too many NFGFC tourneys this year due to work and just being busy. We are really looking forward to next Saturday! We had a hell of a day Saturday and would've been pretty pumped heading to the weigh in if it was tournament day. We caught 16 slot reds from 8AM-4PM with no long breaks in the action and had an 8 pound red and a 5 pound trout. On top of that we had a red with 15 spots so we should've had a decent chance at the side pot for most spots Fished again today and caught fish everywhere we will fish next week. Top water, mirrolures, and sight fished a few of the Reds on soft plastic. Planning to fish out of Carrabelle next week. Now if a tropical system could come through and change everything before next week.. That would be great haha. We all know how it works.. Probably won't be anything like it was this week on tourney day. Here's to hoping it is!
