How is the bite?

Post by Scout-Fisher »

I haven't been on the water in the last couple of weeks, and I am planning on getting on the water this weekend with my 5 yr old. Can anybody give an update on what is biting in the Panacea area? Want to get him on some action to keep his interest.

Just Fish!

Shrimp under a cork, shrimp on a jig head, topwater, suspending plugs, soft plastics, SPOONS!, etc...

They're all catching fish right now. Bait is moving heavily and those fish are hungry. Find moving water, hit the creek mouths, find structure and bars.

Report back your findings - good luck comrade!
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark

If you are going offshore, the amberjack, red snapper, and red grouper fishing is excellent...
