Thanks Rock Landing Marina

Post by Salty Gator »

I needed to get my boat off of the trailer for a few weeks while I have some serious trailer work done. I called shields and they were nice, but full. I called "the other" place in st marks, and the guy couldn't have been less helpful and rude. He didn't even want to check to see if they had openings and when I told him my friend was taking his boat home, he said " well that spot may be already promised to someone else". The funny thing is, he said he wasn't sure , but didn't even bother to check. I will never spend another dime there. So I called Rock Landing. Not only did they have room and let me go week to week, they were actually very, very nice. They gave me different storage options and have a pressure washer ready to wash your boat after fishing. Also I forgot to plug in the on board charger, so I called today and asked if they would plug it in, she said" I would be honored to charge your batteries ". She wasn't being sarcastic, totally serious. It's just crazy how night and day the two operations are. So, if anyone is looking for a marina with room and EXCELLENT service, give Rock landing a call.

 you don't have much to worry about. I haven't fished there much at all, still working on figuring out the area. And I don't keep redfish or trout so if you want to let me know where they are, so I can exercise them for you then I'll be happy to listen
